High school cross country: Davis 3rd, American Fork 6th at Nike National cross country meet

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Davis High cross country team had one goal when it was preparing for the Nike National Cross Country Championships on Saturday — earn a spot on the podium.
Mission accomplished.
The Darts cross-country team earned a third place finish in the highly competitive meet, which is the best finish for a Utah team since Nike started running national championships. American Fork, the recent 5A boys state champs, finished sixth.
