Season's over? Not for Evenson

While most runners cap off their cross country season at state finals in November, Avery Evenson of Hartland is extending hers into December.
Evenson qualified for Nike Cross Nationals on Dec. 3 in Portland, Ore. She competed in the Nike Cross Midwest Regional Championships on Nov. 13, just eight days after the MHSAA high school state finals, where she placed fifth in the state out of 238 runners.
