Lauren Ping, a sophomore representing Desert Vista XC Club as part of the Nike Cross Virtual championship week, clocked 17:02.20 on the 5-kilometer layout at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler, Ariz., to finish fourth overall and second in the team scoring, contributing to Desert Vista winning the NXV team title by a 53.5 to 55 margin over Run Brave XC Club of Idaho.
