I'm not sure, but the 2nd place finisher in the girls 2 mile, Sophia Rodriguez, might have broken an age group world record for 14 year olds that's been on the books since 1979. Anybody know for sure?

A great run by Kejelcha but people seem to be forgetting that when Eammon Coghlan ran sub 3:50 in 1983 it was on a TEN LAP track. That record wasn't broken until 8 lap tracks became prevalent. I doubt anyone could touch that record on a ten lap track.
