RACE DAY SPECTATOR PARKING INFORMATION

All spectators will need to park at the spectator parking lot located at the Linfield University campus (address below) where shuttles will transport you to/from Glendoveer Golf Course.  Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the race start to allow ample time.  Please make sure to remove all valuables from your vehicle prior to parking.

Event Summary – Today is your chance to celebrate the sport of running the best way there is – running in mud, over hills, and straight through the finish line.

Join us for a special 5k run on the National Championship course. Whether you want to run for the first time or for the fastest time come and run with us!

Know Before you go – In the link below you’ll find the Community Race FAQ and all the information you’ll need for race day – from parking to packet pick up. We encourage you to arrive and check-in before 10AM so you can secure your spot and watch both the girls’ and boys’ championship races.

Check-in closes at 12:00PM. If you are not checked-in at least 30 minutes before check-in closes, your spot could be given away to walk-ins.

Community Race starts promptly at 12:30PM.

Please note, for any child under 18 years of age, a parent/guardian will need to sign a release waiver at check-in. 

If online registration reaches capacity, a waitlist line will be available onsite. Waitlist check-in will begin at 11:30AM, on a first come first serve basis.

NXN Community Race FAQ

What is NXN? 
Nike Cross Nationals (NXN) is the ultimate Cross-Country experience comprising of a series of Regional Championship events that culminate with the National Championship . All high school athletes are invited to compete in Nike Cross Regional Championships. The top two clubs and top five individuals not on a qualifying club will advance to the national meet. In addition, four at-large per gender will also be selected to compete.

Can anyone register for the NXN Community Race?
-Yes. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the NXN Community Race. 

What is the distance of the NXN Community Race?

The race will be held on the Championship 5K course.

 What is the cost of the Community Race?

There will be a $5 registration + processing fee

Where can I park on race day? 
-Parking will be available at the Linfield parking lot located at 2900 NE 132nd Ave, Portland, OR 97230. Shuttles will then transport you to/from Glendoveer Golf Course. Please plan to park at least one hour prior to the NXN Community Race to allow ample time for check-in and warm ups. 

When and where can I check-in for the NXN Community Race?
-Check-in will be open at Glendoveer Golf Course at the black Nike tents. Check in will begin at 8:30am and run through 11:30am. If you are not checked in by 11:30am your spot could be given away to a walk-in.  

Can I check my bags?
-Bag check will NOT be available for the NXN Community Race.  

I want to wear my new running shoes. What condition will the course be in?
-After two championship races, the course will be extremely muddy – in true XC fashion. Please take these conditions into consideration when deciding what shoes and product to wear.  

When will I receive my time from the NXN Community Race?
-Results will be posted online at www.nikecrossnationals.com following the race.
